"The Earth Abides" is a narrative framework combining experimental tuning and synthesis with traditional composition technique and artistic method. Moving between orchestral and chip-tune instrumentation, as well as just-intonation and meantone scales, the narrative is structured to evoke tales of mythological heroes, as well as the stories of action-adventure computer games, centered around a theme of longstanding continuance.
